Eclipse "Expected"

This AP headline made me smile:  Total Lunar Eclipse Expected Saturday...

"Expected"?  Is someone being a little overcautious here?  Barring the destruction of the Earth, the moon, or the sun, or a change to the laws of physics, I think we can count on the eclipse happening.  "Total Lunar Eclipse Saturday" would do.

It's a shame it happens just before sunset (and moon rise) here; I'd have like to see the whole thing.

UPDATE:  Good news, looks like the big event went off on schedule.
