First jetBlue Flight

I flew jetBlue for the first time yesterday.  Very nice!  The DirectTV was great, and the fact that it runs during take-off and landing was cool.  I hate not having electronic amusement during take-offs and landing.  Also, I was amazed how big a difference a relatively small increase in seat pitch (distance between the seat backs) made over what I’m used to on Continental.  It made for a cushy ride.

Ironically, it was jetBlue’s recent problems that earned them my business.  Their forthright and customer-focused response in the aftermath got my attention, and when Continental decided they wanted a lot more for a last minute ticket to New York, I decided to give jetBlue a shot, even though it means driving to the smaller airport across town.  I liked their product so much, I’ll be going back.

According to this survey, jetBlue’s rapid response won a lot of people over.  Other companies should learn from their example.
