Obama Cuba Policy

I've been annoyed with the federal government for restricting travel and trade with Cuba since... I first heard about it. This was clearly a wild-eyed, red-scare-era overreation to the communist takeover of the country. I suppose we could continue to isolate them, and see if another forty-seven years turns things around.  But I won't be holding my breath.  So, kudos to Obama for opening up our US Cuba relationship.

I think what annoys me the most about this old policy is that not only does it restrict Cuba, it restricts me.  What if I want to visit Cuba, because I'm in the mood for a stogie and some pulled pork?  Doesn't anyone remember how the USSR collapsed?  It wasn't from the Russians not having access to Levis and McDonalds, that's for sure.
