Wrong Again?

Polipundit provides the tip that NBC News reported last evening that the "missing explosives" you heard about if you turned the TV or radio on yesterday were, in fact, already missing when we invaded Iraq. A team of NBC News embeds were there when US troops arrived at the site during the invasion, and the explosives were already absent at that point.

Could it be that once again, "news" organizations have rushed to report a story without properly investigating it and getting their facts straight? The desperation seems to be deepening at the New York Times.

Perhaps you're right. But there is no less desperation on the other side, with certain people mentioning, at the drop of a hat (any hat) the possibilities that Kerry is a communist, a sociopath, or that he was dishonorably discharged.

Suggesting that there might have been a couple of tactical errors in the Iraq war seems tame in comparison, no?
